Our vision…
Collaborating 4 Better Futures envisions a minimum of one Shamrock Center in each county to start. We will then explore further Shamrock Centers in each smaller community. Shamrock Centers will support each community’s unique needs and cultural heritage.
Our values…
The sanctity of the family is first. Education is prevention. A family with the proper supports is a strong family. We respect all cultures.
Who we are... Shamrock Centers are designed to offer families services before the crisis occurs. Shamrock Centers offer culturally competent, respectful, basic human services, and intend to remain aware of the needs of the communities they serve. Services will expand as community growth and diversity dictated.
Community child welfare leaders came together to address th many social issues plaguing Indian River County, Martin County, Okeechobee County, and Saint Lucie County.
Many services are available to families after a crisis occurs. For some families that is just too late.
Collaborating 4 Better Futures is dedicated to building and maintaining healthy, ongoing, collaborative relationships with other organizations, agencies and entities, recognizing that only through strong partnerships will we be able to ensure the appropriate prevention, education, and family services needed to meet the myriad needs for children and families in our community. Our Shamrock Centers welcome families who need information regarding the services in our community. Training is provided on the premises to assist the areas of parenting, financial planning, and lifeskills, to name a few. We want to avoid a preventable family crisis from occurring, and keep our community children safe from harm.
